Dental Technology
Dental technology has come a long way since 1986. We’d like to show you some of the technology we use in our office today while we’re treating you.
Digital X-rays
These next-generation X-ray systems have mostly replaced the older film-based X-rays. They take high quality digital images that can be zoomed for a closer look at a specific area. Patients like them because they use much less X-ray radiation than film based X-rays.
Panoramic X-rays
Picture an X-ray machine that travels around your jaw, taking a “full-mouth” image. The panoramic X-ray is a vital tool for treatments where we need to see your whole mouth, such as implant placement and orthodontics.
E4D
Our E4D system produces ceramic restorations like crowns right in our office without the need for a dental laboratory. This is a popular choice with patients because they don’t need messy, uncomfortable impression trays and it allows us to produce and place crowns in a single appointment.
